Say hello to Dr. Logan Passey—better known around the office (and to his patients) as simply Dr. Logan. Originally from sunny St. George, Utah, Dr. Logan grew up hiking red rock trails, fishing alpine lakes, mountain biking desert singletrack, and basically doing anything he could to stay outside.
Now, he’s thrilled to bring that same energy and passion to the Northwoods as the new owner of Bemidji Orthodontics. Though he's traded the Utah cliffs for Minnesota pines, he’s no stranger to the Land of 10,000 Lakes—his wife is a proud Minnesota native, and together they’re raising two adventurous kiddos who keep them on their toes.
Dr. Logan earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Utah and went on to complete his orthodontic residency at Virginia Commonwealth University, where he received advanced training in everything from traditional braces and clear aligners to orthognathic surgery and cleft lip/palate care. Whether he’s helping teens smile confidently with clear aligners or creating custom treatment plans for complex cases, Dr. Logan brings warmth, expertise, and a down-to-earth vibe to every appointment.
When he’s not perfecting smiles, you’ll likely find him running forest trails, building the ultimate Lego spaceship with his kids, or chasing the perfect hot wing.

- Spirit animal: The majestic narwhal— because that magical horn? It’s actually a tooth. How cool is that?
- Weekend warrior: If there’s a trail, he’s running or biking it. Bonus points for big boulders.
- Favorite superhero: Wolverine—partly for the attitude, mostly because his real name is Logan

- Dad mode: Tea parties with his daughter > basically everything.
